The specific objectives of the position are to test whether early exposure to a mixture of chemicals (phenols, phthalates, PFAS, pesticides, flame retardants) can disturb child neurodevelopment. Biomarkers of exposure have been measured in maternal blood or urine collected during pregnancy, while child neurodevelopment has been evaluated thought standardized questionnaires completed by the parents (e.g., Social Responsiveness Scale). The effects of both individual chemicals and mixtures will be investigated using state-of-the-art statistical models.
